Academic entry qualification overview: The standard academic entry requirements for a Masters programme will be a minimum of a good 2(ii) UK honours degree, or international equivalent, in chemistry, analytical chemistry or other chemistry related disciplines. Students possessing The University of Manchester BSc or MChem degree should not apply.
English language: Students will need to be able to demonstrate competency in the English language and students who do not already possess a recognised English Language qualification will need to take a test such as IELTS or TOEFL and attain a minimum of IELTS 6.5 (with no sub test less than 5.5) or TOEFL IBT 90 (with no less than 22 in each component).
English language test validity: Some English language test results are only valid for two years. Your English language test report must be valid on the start date of the course.
