Studentships

The School of Chemistry expects to have over 60 fully funded PhD Studentships available each academic year.

How to Apply for a PhD at the School of Chemistry

All outstanding applicants will automatically be considered for a President’s Doctoral Award.

Applicants should submit an application for one of our funded PhD projects listed on our studentship page studentships. The application process for these projects is clearly stated and you should follow this.

All other applicants are advised to talk to potential supervisors.  Please see their research interests research themes or contact the School’s Postgraduate Recruitment and Admissions Office pg.chemistry@manchester.ac.uk for further advice.  You should then submit an application through the University online application system.  How to apply.
