Secondary schools

We offer a range of activities for secondary school pupils that support the national curriculum and foster a sense of excitement about the challenges of chemistry.

We visit schools, colleges, museums and visitor centres but we find that bringing learners into our impressive laboratories is the most effective way of planting the seeds of academic ambition into young minds.

Take a look at some of the visits that secondary students have been involved in, including the Royal Society of Chemistry supported Spectroscopy in a suitcase, Salters' festivals and the annual Christmas lecture, held in both Manchester and Bolton.
