Welcoming Dr. Daniele Leonori
Dr. Daniele Leonori was born in Perugia (Italy) where he received his undergraduate education. He completed his PhD in 2010 at the University of Sheffield working on the dynamic resolution of chiral organolithiums under the supervision of Professor Iain Coldham. During this time he carried out a research placement in Professor Robert E. Gawley research Group (University of Arkansas, USA).
Daniele moved to Germany in 2010 to carry out postdoctoral studies with Professors Magnus Rueping (RWTH-Aachen University) and Peter H. Seeberger (Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces). In 2012 he returned to the UK to work as Research Officer in Professor Varinder K. Aggarwal FRS research group (University of Bristol). His current research interests are in the area of asymmetric catalysis and organometallic chemistry
