The Complex Life of Sugars heads to Great British Bioscience Festival
Professor Sabine Flitsch’s team (including members of the IBCarb network) will be showcasing their exhibit The Complex Life of Sugars at the Great British Bioscience Festival between 14 – 16 November in Museum Gardens, Bethnal Green, London.
Sugars provide the building blocks of life, and most of the Earth’s biomass. This exhibit will introduce you to the science of sugars and recent discoveries made in our laboratories. We will show how we can apply our discoveries in the areas of bioenergy and biomaterial production, as well as in food and health. Through experiments, model building, animation and games, the team will introduce you to The Complex Life of Sugars!
