We are offering entrance scholarships of £1,000 to UK/EU applicants who achieve at least A*AA (or equivalent) from the A-levels making up our offer. The A* must be in Chemistry.
There is no formal application by you for this scholarship as you will be identified by the Admissions team following publication of the A Level results and you will be notified shortly afterwards if you are eligible for the scholarship.
The Faculty of Science and Engineering International Excellence Undergraduate Scholarships are available, worth £2,000 per year for well-qualified international students. All international students who are holding an offer of a place will be automatically considered for a scholarship. International BSc and MChem students who achieve a First Class performance in their first and second years will receive £3,000 at the start of year three. MChem students who obtain a First Class performance in year three will receive another £3,000 in year four. These scholarships will be credited towards international tuition fees in the relevant years.
British Petroleum (BP) are offering a range of scholarships to undergraduate students. These include Achievement Awards and STEM Scholarships. The scholarships range from £1000 per year to £3000 per year. Details on criteria and selection can be obtained for Home (UK/EU) students here, and for international students here.
- The award: £3,000 per year, for up to three years.
- Who is eligible: any Indian student who can demonstrate high levels of attainment while studying the International Baccalaureate or Standard XII.
Five individual scholarships will be available. These prestigious Faculty awards will be made on the basis of an applicant’s UCAS form – no special interview or extra work commitment is involved.
Eligible candidates need to accept an offer from the University by the end of June and the five successful applicants will be informed of their awards in July, providing them with valuable savings on their studies.
